i just spent 3hrs searching for & changing my blogskin & still its not perfect (hate comments & profile boxes) but ill try to fix it another time. after painstakingly adjusting the alignments & some font sizes, this is decent enough. ill test this out for a few days, if it gets too messy ill switch back to inyourface pink!

one other prob - my previous entries were all mostly in purple which is unreadable against the maroon. cant imagine changing each of the 60 entries manually tho! ahhhh, problem for another day.

for now, im sufficiently satisfied. love the detailing... aint it pretty? :):):)

ps: just checked it out in IE - super screwy! only ok in firefox. bleah... ok this will be temporary then :{

I don't know which one you're talking about, but I prefer the current one. Easier on the eyes, but make you appear to be a more sophistikated womom.

i actually didn't mind the "inyourface pink" :) but can't remember what it looks like to compare... the current colours are good (except for the purple fonts which u already know about), tho the detailing does give it a victorian feel (like... as in old/antiquated...) so i'm not sure if that's an intended result??

what do you want to do with ur comments and profile bits?

    I'd prefer this red one...

    ...simply because I don't like pink =P

Hope this one stays, after you fix up the profile and comments problem ;) Easier to read also.

    i prefer this too....

    ...simply cos i like red.

the pink was a bit overwhelming. maybe you should play around with the font colour for this though. :)

I like the orignial one, just like KFC and Coca Cola, why adjust what was already pretty darn good?

Besides, I felt the original was more reflective of your personality.

hey thanks much guys for voting! seems like its quite obvious red is leading...

the problem is the original maroon template isnt perfect in size (entry portion too small, navigation portion too thin etc) so i cldnt just paste it directly. had to make the adjustments, which resulted in the mess.

as for comments & profile bits, i dont like that the purple box is broken up & i have no clue how to fix it (came like that - how awful). to be honest, whatever adjustments i made were really as a layman - ive no html knowhow at all (you dont say) & it was simply trial & error!

sigh. nice blogskins are soooo hard to find! they either have stupid tacky lines (like ill always lurve youuuu) or are too goth or have cheesy pics like forever friends bear, etc. :P blogspot shd have MORE updated templates. theirs are alot more stable & aesthetically pleasing.

I think this red one is definitely prettier and easier on the eyes. But don't you think it's a little too sophisticated? The pink ah-lianish one was so much more you!

It's a pity that you always change your font colours manually, otherwise you would be able to edit the stylesheet in the template.
